After showing our unified strength our union janitors reached a TENTATIVE AGREEMENT with the largest cleaning contractors in Colorado that includes a historic 16-18% raise over the next 4 years, making Denver one of the highest-paid cities for janitors in the country!

After months of bargaining and a 100% unanimous vote to authorize a strike, the janitors won a four contract with cleaning companies on Saturday morning that includes:
- Historic wage increases of 16%-18% across the Denver Metro
- Protections against excessive workloads
- Workplace safety and harassment protections
- Protections for employer-paid health benefits
- Guaranteed paid sick leave
- Increased investment in a fund for employee education
These past few months of bargaining have been an intense fight, and the historic agreement we’ve reached is a testament to the unwavering strength of our membership and the power of our union.
