We’re excited to announce that we have officially ratified our new contract with Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains! This contract brings significant improvements for all members, with wins in wages, benefits, and new provisions for staff. This is a monumental achievement for all PPRM workers and a testament to the power of our collective action!
Key Contract Victories
Wage Increases:
APCs: Average wage increase of 11%
RNs: Average wage increase of 10%
HCAs: The wage increase varies depending on scale comparisons, but for MR/MA and PMA/HCA employees, the average increase is 12%
Retroactive Bonus: Difference paid out from October 6th
The lump sum payment shall be calculated using employees’ bi-weekly scheduled hours in PPRM’s payroll system for the period beginning October 6, 2024, through the date the wages in the successor CBA are effective. The lump sum shall be paid out the same pay period the successor CBA wages are implemented.
Conversational Language Differential Pay:
With a $1.25/hour differential for conversational language skills, employees will have to take a test starting May 1st, 2025.
After passing the Alta Bilingual Medical Assessment, the differential increases to $2.25/hour.
If the test is not passed, employees will have three months to retake it.
Additional Contract Wins:
- Extended Shift Pay: Beginning February 1st, 2025, employees who work more than 30 minutes past their scheduled shift will earn 1.25x their hourly wage for any additional time worked.
- Juneteenth: The Juneteenth holiday has been added to the official holiday schedule.
