SEIU Local 105 members at the Mental Health Center of Denver (MHCD) are celebrating this summer as MHCD is named one of the Top 10 places to work in Denver for 2013 by the Denver Post. Click here to read the article.
Local 105 members played a pivotal role in helping to win one of the Top 10 for MHCD by working on the front lines delivering high quality services and helping maintain an environment that indeed, makes MHCD a great place to work.
“It’s about quality people working at MHCD,” said Michele Rosebrook, SEIU steward at MHCD. “We union members, work for the health and wellness of all our members who, in turn, work for the health and wellness of all the people we serve at MHCD. Taking good care of ourselves and our co-workers is an important part of being able to offer the best quality services.”
MHCD has been recognized nationally as one of the best health care providers in addition to being named one of Denver’s best places to work. SEIU represents over 300 workers at MHCD.
Rosebrook went on to say, “We work hard to take good care of our consumers. Doing this most effectively is the strength we can bring to our collective bargaining later this year.”
