Yesterday, Denver’s janitors took to the streets! Paired with our first bargaining session for our city-wide master contract, we showed up strong to downtown Denver and marched union proud in full view of the buildings we keep clean and safe every day!
Janitors are fighting for living wages, fair workloads, and respect on the job. We should ALL be able to afford to live in the community we serve every day. As Denver invests in a revitalized downtown, we’re demanding that investment includes Justice for Janitors!
We’d like to thank our union family, our worker champions in elected office, and our community allies who came out to march with us. We’re going to keep fighting and marching until we win a fair contract with the city’s corporate cleaning contractors. Stand with us
